“How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours. ” “Friends are God's way of apologizing for your family.” “With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose.” these are the words of Dr. Wayne Dyer, a lecturer, philosopher and spiritual teacher whom I was honored to attend two of his lectures in 2011. His words of connecting to your inner guidance and wisdom were very life changing for me.

Deepak Chopra is an Indian medical doctor, public speaker, and writer on subjects such as spirituality, Ayurveda and mind-body medicine. Chopra began his career as an endocrinologist and later shifted his focus to alternative medicine. Chopra now runs his own medical center, with a focus on mind-body connections. He is also a lecturer at the Update in Internal Medicine event, sponsored by Harvard Medical School's Department of Continuing Education and the Department of Medicine. Chopra was a top assistant to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi before launching his own career[4] in the late 1980s by publishing self-help books on New Age spirituality and alternative medicine.[5] A friend of Michael Jackson for 20 years, Chopra came to widespread public attention in July 2009 when he criticized the "cult of drug-pushing doctors, with their co-dependent relationships with addicted celebrities," saying he hoped Jackson's death, attributed to an overdose of a prescription drug, would be a call to action. I had the priviledge of meeting Dr. Chopra in 2011 when he spoke in Minnesota.

Bestselling author Eckhart Tolle’s profound yet simple teachings have helped countless people throughout the world find inner peace and greater fulfillment in their lives.

In November, 2011, I had the great priviledge of doing a book signing with Sunny Dawn Johnston. Her book, Invoking the Archangels is such a wonderful book! Sunny is an amazing teacher and person and what a light. I can't tell you what an impact it has had on my life to do a book signing with her. I still can't stop smiling when I think of that event.
